iappy network doesn't own any cars and isn't a rental company itself. It's the network that brings independent Italian rental companies together and makes them easy to find for anyone looking for a car nearby.
Car rental in Italy is concentrated at airports and major stations, held by a handful of large groups. Meanwhile, in every city, there are dozens of rental companies with small fleets and a location a couple of minutes from your home: they have the cars, they have the know-how, but not the marketing budget to be found online.
On the other side there's you, often wanting the car right where you live — for a move, a weekend, a replacement car — and ending up on an airport shuttle or queuing at a counter.
We bring local rental companies together into a single network with one shared standard: availability updated in real time, total price stated before payment, contract signed digitally before you reach the location. You book online with all the ease of a major chain, but pick up from a local operator.
The rental stays between you and the rental company: the contract is theirs, the invoice is theirs, support on the vehicle is theirs. We just make sure you find each other.
We build iappy Manager, the software rental companies use to run their business: contracts, fleet, digital check-in and the notifications they're required to send to the authorities. The network grows out of it, which is why the availability you see is real, kept in sync with the rental company's own software.
